Visitors to the Christmas Market in Gdańsk have until Sunday to choose the best gift in the Christmas Treasury of Ideas. Just show up at the Armory and vote. From December 1 on ul. Bogusławskiego, the Secrets of the Advent Calendar are revealed, and from December 5, the illuminations in Gdańsk will light up. We invite you to Celebrate in Gdańsk!
The first week of the magical Christmas Market in Gdańsk has come to an end. However, this is not a reason to be sad, because there are still over three weeks of meetings ahead of us at Targ Węglowy, in the Armory, at ul. Tkacka and Bogusławskiego and the Przedgate Complex.
Christmas Treasury of Ideas
It's worth visiting the Christmas town often because you can discover new things and inspirations every day. In the Armory, at the entrance from Targ Węglowy, there is a Christmas Treasury of Ideas. This is where exhibitors with their stands in the Armory discover gift inspirations. Each of them has a stand number where you can buy a given product. The Christmas Treasury of Ideas also includes a competition for visitors to the fair. Until December 3, you can vote for the most unique Christmas gift presented in the showcase. The product with the most votes will receive the title of "Best Gift of the Treasury of Ideas of the Christmas Market in Gdańsk 2023". In addition, each voter will take part in a competition for the most interesting slogan inviting to the Christmas Market in Gdańsk 2024. The most interesting one will be selected from among the proposed slogans, and the organizer and exhibitors will provide a surprise prize to its author.

Secrets of the Advent Calendar
From December 1 until the end of the Christmas Fair in Gdańsk, the Secrets of the Advent Calendar will be revealed, which is traditionally part of the Advent Gate, located this year at ul. Bogusławski. Animators from the Gdańsk Garrison will open subsequent windows, read the tasks to be completed and then give sweets from E. Wedel. Then they will act out theater scenes at the Przedbramia Complex. You should arrive at the Advent Gate just before 5 p.m. 18.
Winter adventure with Treflik
On Saturday, December 2, Trefliki, beloved by children, together with special guest Joanna Jabłczyńska, will appear on the Christmas Market Stage in Gdańsk. In the winter weather, children will be able to meet their favorite characters from the fairy tale The Treflik Family and sing together with the series' Treflinka, Joanna Jabłczyńska. The event will start at 15:00.

December 5 Let's start the holidays!
On Tuesday, "Let's start the holidays!" and magical illuminations and decorations in various compositions will appear at Targ Węglowy and ul. Tkacka, in the Oliwski, Oruński, Kuźniczki and Jana Pawła II Parks, on the promenade in Brzeźno, Zielony Most and ul. Stągiewna, there will also be them on the Heweliusza and Kobzdej squares.
It will begin traditionally with a visit from Santa Claus at the Christmas tree at Długi Targ. The newcomer from the far north will appear around 18.
The illuminations include over 160 figures, among which you will be able to see both forms already known by residents and tourists, as well as new ones. For the first time in the Oliwa Park we will see Floating Lilies. On the promenade in Brzeźno there will be an almost 8-meter-wide port crane, accompanied by the previously known 11- and 12-meter-high shipyard cranes. The sponsor of this light composition is the Port of Gdansk Authority. On the street Tkacka harbor has a fairy-tale rocking horse. We will pass through the Gate with a plant motif next to the Armory, and in Oruński Park we will find Lighthouses and a romantic, illuminated Bridge. Right at the entrance, we will be greeted by the Gate Illumination, which will also appear in Kuźniczki Park.
The mentioned figures will create compositions. Thanks to the popularity of the campaign and the interest of subsequent sponsors, you will also be able to find impressive single illuminations. The 6-meter-high Carillion will shine on the Young Poland Square, and the Solidarity inscription will stand on the Road to Freedom. #GDN will illuminate Rybackie Pobrzeże, and the Baltic HUB Christmas tree will illuminate Skwer Stogi.
It is worth adding that the well-known illuminations from previous years also attract sponsors. GPEC is the sponsor of a modern Christmas tree on Kobzdeja Square, GAiT, of course, sponsors the glowing bus and tram on Zielony Most and Stągiewna. GOT liked Lew Hewolion at Targ Węglowy, and the Gdańsk Airport. Lech Wałęsa, for obvious reasons, the air zone in the Park. John Paul II.
