When visiting the Christmas Market and Christmas Travel Corner with AmberSky, it is worth starting this year "with a bang" with a new attraction called "Spinning Barrels". A family spinning coaster attraction will thrill and warm up both young and old adventure seekers on a winter day.
The main structure of the attraction - the track wraps around in a figure of eight of different heights, on which barrel wagons run. Additionally, the carriages rotate around their own axis at different speeds depending on the number of passengers and their weight, which makes each coaster trip unpredictable, exciting and provides new, unforgettable experiences.
A set of 12 electric motors working synchronously is responsible for putting the wagons into motion, used to pull the wagons up and for a quick descent by gravity. 16 people can use the attraction at the same time, and the journey time is about 3 minutes. The minimum height allowed for spinning coaster passengers is 95 cm.
You can catch a moment of breath during a romantic and nostalgic ride on the Gdańsk Carousel. This is a pleasure not only for children, although they enjoy this attraction most often. Regardless of whether we spin on the carousel with our children or friends, or just admire their fun, the carousel pleases the eye with beautiful figures, decorations and lighting. It was made in an Italian factory and all elements are hand-painted. It moves smoothly and gracefully, although it is worth knowing that the whole thing weighs... 15 tons. 30 people can use the attraction at one time, and the ride lasts a few minutes.
Within walking distance, right next to the Carousel, the Elf House awaits fair guests and includes a meeting with Santa Claus. Just get in the SAINT Sleigh. SANTA, put on the "magic" VR glasses and see with your own eyes how Santa Claus delivers gifts to all people in the world in just one night! It's a very dynamic experience because Santa has to hurry, so the sleigh rushes, faithfully reproducing the feeling of speed, turns and tilts. The world of virtual adventure seduces the senses and for a moment we can surrender to the impression of traveling through the skies with Santa Claus. Visitors to the attraction can choose from two films presenting a virtual world with a 360-degree view. Right in front of the Elf House you can meet "Katherine the Talking Box" for letters to Santa. At the end of an exciting afternoon, it is worth taking a walk along the Motława River to Ołowianka, i.e. near the AmberSky observation wheel, from which we can admire the unforgettable panorama of Gdańsk.
Every evening, at the end of the Fair, you will be able to watch a light and music show, i.e. a synchronized spectacle in which sounds and lights work together harmoniously, creating a unique atmosphere and a multi-layered story. The light and music show lasts about 6 minutes.
